Our candid wines are simple, honest wines that are great for informal entertaining. These are red and rose wines that are not pretentious, just very good for drinking. The wines deliver exactly Ravor exactly as promised, nothing less is acceptable. These are easy to drink wines from around the world. Below are some of the candid wines that we carry.

 

 

 

Angeline wines come from the Martin Ray winery in Sonoma. The winery, while not always under this name, is the oldest winery in continuous operation in Sonoma, and one of the oldest in California. It has thirty 11,000 gallon old-growth redwood tanks dating back to 1904 that are still used today. The pinot noir grapes for the wine come from two vineyards in the Russian River Valley. It has great fruit aroma, is a nice ruby color, and flavors of red fruit throughout the taste. A great wine with pork chops or maybe even salmon.

 

 

 

This California blend has a strong connection to Montana. The winery owner, Jon Ruth, comes to Montana every year and he loves how the people here have found way tot live their lives doing what they enjoy. He was moved to try and create wines that captured that spirit of freedom to enjoy life and was good enough, yet affordable enough to drink on a regular basis. Ramblin' Red is a blend based on merlot, petite sirah, and zinfandel. It goes great with both food and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

This winemaking family goes back six generations in the area. The grapes grown on each single vineyard are all vinified separately, by hand and with smalL high-quality yields. Dolcetto is known as the everyday wine of the Piemontese. It has a bright ruby red color with loads of fresh fruit flavors, paired with good acidity and soft tannins. It matches beautifully with your favorite summertime foods, or just sip a glass by the pool (or wading pool!).
