This is a wine that has been in production continually, and by the same family, since 1780, how cool is that?! Scents of purple and white flower are light on their feet but hint at blackcurrant, menthol, and licorice. Classic minerality blends with a lovely ripeness that greets the palate. A light body but with great depth we see flavors of dark, almost bitter cherry and dark fruits with smooth spices that highlight the best of both grapes blended in. Great with chicken, pork, pastas or cheese plates this is a versatile and fun bottle.
