Tokaj, pronounced (toe-keye) is an UNESCO World Heritage Centre, famous for the dessert wines they produce, though they make some stunning dry wines like this one. A blend of native varietals, predominantly fermented and aged in stainless steel to maintain fresh, crisp notes of citrus and melon, a small amount is matured in Hungarian oak to add richness and body, though the wine doesn’t become oaky. It is fresh and balanced with elegant floral and spice, lovely minerality, and a fabulous bright acidity.
