Alicia Basa and Mark Warner are quite simply making frivolous wine from organic grapes with nothing added and no fining or filtering, and are having fun doing it. Their wines are persistent, delicious and exciting. This skin-contacted Pinot Grigio is light and playful with a cheeky soul. It’s very textured for a Pinot with chewy bright melon that opens to round, fruit driven fleshy apricot and white peach. The wine has a rounded, aromatic kind of vibe, with fleshy melon fruit, it is fun drinking but with a fine framework of pithy texture and acid crunch that keep this high on the drinkability scale.
