The Parts & Labor red is a project from Hobo Wine Company, that should set the stage. The sixth vintage, they set out to make a California bistro style wine; light on it’s feet, great with food, fun and easy to drink, and won’t break the bank. Sourcing from old California vineyards in the Redwood Valley, Potter Valley, and Arroyo Seco the wine is unfiltered and unfined (vegan), uses native yeasts, and is aged mostly in stainless with a touch of neutral oak. All that comes together to give us a wine that shows soft, crushable red fruits, hints of dark berry, subtle earthy undertones, and just a kiss of baking spice and mint to add depth. A tasty, unique wine.
