This beautifully dry gewürz comes from old vines, like seriously old, they were planted by the great, great, great grandfather of the current winemakers back in 1858, some of the first vines the family planted! These low yielding old souls enjoy maritime breezes that give extra depth and character. It’s intense with lychee, tangerine, and white pear with a crisp, bright finish loaded with citrus and seaside minerality highlighted by kisses of spice. This isn’t the cheap, sweet gewürztraminer you put with a kitty puzzle, it’s a serious wine, layered and ready for an incredible curry or any spicy dish!
