Yeah, it’s Pinot Grigio, but this wine is not like other Pinot Grigios! Made in the Ramato style, the wine is given three days on the skin. So what does that mean? The time on skin gives us a very faint pink hue, seductive, that leads to a wine with more richness than you would expect. Don’t get us wrong, it’s still a fresh, crisp Pinot Grigio, bright citrus notes weave with soft floral tones, but there’s a hint at ripe citrus zest, touches of ripe, peak of summer melon, but not juicy melon, and an ever so faint, and oh so tasty mineral, almost saline kiss that comes through on the finish. Love Pinot Grigio or not, this is one you have to try!
