Ok, so not technically Chianti, but all the Chianti goodness (from Chianti), all because it’s declassified. A blend of 70/30 Sangiovese and Canaiolo. That 30% Canaiolo means the wine can’t be legally labeled as Chianti, 10% is the max, and the winemakers wanted to do their own thing. And we are glad they did! The wine is juicy with red and black berries, slightly perfumed, and a bit spicy and savory. Made with extreme Italian passion and finesse, from organic grapes. This is a wine that really over delivers, not full of itself, just down right humble and delicious!!
