A classic expression of an iconic grape from a husband and wife duo that really know what they’re doing but balance hardened seriousness with the fun loving side of wine and life. Their Chenin Blanc exemplifies South Africa, the wife’s homeland; the vines are old, gnarled bush vines in vineyards of granite and sand, great for the character of the wine. Intensely aromatic, bright and fresh, the wine lures us in with orange blossom, lemon, ginger, sea spray and golden plum. All of this leads us to a wines that is layered and driven, showing stone fruit like white peach, pear, and orange pith livened up with a zip of lemongrass and crushed stones. And everything they do is sustainable too!
