|Article number:||Parcel 41 Merlot|

Parcel 41 refers to the original land assessor’s plot number for the Napa Valley ranch land that became the source of this luscious wine. A little known fact: merlot grapes are typically more difficult to grow than cabernet sauvignon, which is why the best merlots are often more expensive. The goal with Parcel 41 was to make a merlot that is supple and elegant, yet still has the structure, depth and richness you find in more expensive offerings. The production of this wine is fairly limited and this particular vintage is made up of 98% Merlot from the Stags Leap District with the addition of 2% Petite Syrah. It is ripe, smooth and rich with concentrated flavors of blackberry and currants with a hint of mocha.
