Sometimes we are lucky enough to get a wine like this one. This wine has just arrived in the United States for the very first time and I must say, when I tasted it, I was transported. Several times, I have had the opportunity to go to the Cinque Terre on the Ligurian Coast of Italy and each time I have loved the food as well as the ancient, seaside coast. If you were sitting in the town square of Vernazza eating a plate of white anchovies, this would be the wine you would have. It is produced exclusively with Turbiana grapes from the farm's native vineyards and features a distinct and deep flowery bouquet with a tinge of mineral notes that develops into a dry yet voluptuous flavor profile of almonds. I could drink it all day.
