The wine is aromatic and inviting with silky smooth red fruits and small berries, it's layered with a wonderful richness and impressive complexity. This is an unadulterated, lovely expression of Gamay. The vineyards for this wine are some of the original vines that Jules Chauvet worked with, it's wonderful to drink from the vines of father of the French natural wine movement, and even more wonderful to see that Denogent is carrying on the tradition.
