A blend of Pais and Carignan, this is a single-vineyard wine, the Pais vines were first planted in 1870, the typical Pipeño (think bright, zippy, and a touch effervescent) style of the wine makes it so refreshing! This is old school Chile at it’s best!! Bright with crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, and rose petals that lead into underlying notes of dried herbs, mint, fennel, and thyme. The wine is just so fresh and juicy, so easy drinking thanks to the fresh acidity and low tannins, and it does so incredibly well with a slight chill.
