The 2018 Flying Pig from Cayuse is a blend of 45% Cabernet-Franc, 44% Merlot, and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon resulting in a wine that is complex and voluminous while still maintaining a bright approachable freshness. There are lovely notes of black current and black cherry fruits matched with a growing flavor of baking spices and tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, it has a great rounded texture leading to a long, clean finish.
