The term “fervent” is defined as “having intensity of spirit, feeling, and enthusiasm.” Le Fervent is 91% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 2% Mourvedre, and 3% Viognier. A very fresh and vibrant wine with flavors of blueberry, boysenberry, and garrigue underlined by hints of toast and cocoa. The finish in long & lingering, calling us back for more. The winemakers for this wine, and The Pundit, just to the left of this wine, collaborated with each other giving the Fervent a Washington flair, and the Pundit a French Finesse.
