Lovely native Portuguese wine, yes, they are cheeky enough to list “others” in the list of grapes. All native varietals, based on the grape Jean, the wine mostly sees stainless steel so the fruit can shine through. It’s elegant on a grand scale, well balanced, crisp and silky with earthy undertones. Notes of black cherry, plum, and raspberry balance out the earthy, mineral notes. The tannins are well balanced, nicely in check but giving just enough structure and grip on the finish. Pull the cork and go, you won’t be sorry!
