This delightful digestivo comes from one of our favorite Barolo producers, Cavalier Barolomeo. A lovely twist on the iconic Nebbiolo, it’s broad, ethereal, all the lovely red fruit structure we expect from the grape, but incredibly aromatic and beautifully balanced with spices and herbs. The wine is blended with botanicals like china, cardamom, cinnamon, orange, clove, and more. Semi-sweet and persistent, this is simply an Italian treasure in a bottle, do yourself a favor and sip a glass or two before or after dinner (or both!)
