The Assyrtiko for this wine comes from Santorini, the Monemvasia comes from nearby Paros, giving us stunning island wine at a great value. Gloriously drinkable, bright, shining citrus fruits mix with sunny sea breezes, a soft, chalky minerality, and hints of pear and smoke that dance with soft notes of pepper on the finish. One drink and it’s like you’re transported to the island, sitting a top the hill, overlooking the ocean… how can you not love that?!
