Coming from one of the most respected wine-making families in the area, Goya Garcia, along with his wife Diana, produce unabashed mountain wines. The vineyard the Tempranillo comes from is dry-farmed, everything is hand-harvested, and the wine see no addition and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. This wine is the family’s only non-oaked wine, spending three months in stainless steel tanks with skin contact. A classic and young Ribera del Duero there’s an extra shade of vibrancy and fabulous tension between dark fruit, florals, minerals, and acidity. It’s just so fresh, so delightful, and so dang food friendly!
