This white from the Dao in Portugal is traditional and seductive! A blend of Encruzado, Malvasia Fina, Sercial Branco, and Bical it is zippy and cool. Crisp and refreshing with notes of melon, papaya, and green apple, subtle notes of ripe quince and floral, slightly herbal saltbush sneak in on the finish. It's elegant and finessed, fermented in stainless steel to really let the grapes show off their true nature. Simply a lovely example of the crisp, dry, non-fortified whites made in Portugal that we sadly don't see many of!
