The Bea family has been in Umbria dating back to the early 1500s and their tiny estate has been producing idiosyncratic, natural style wines since the 1980’s. The vineyards are cultivated organically, all grapes are harvested manually and all wines are bottled without fining or filtration. Produced with as little intervention or manipulation as possible, the wines of Paolo Bea have great purity and show the pulse of their terroir and grapes of origin. This wine jumps from the glass with notes of macerated peaches, candied citrus and white pepper.
